About

Our story begins with the Common Loon, Minnesota’s beloved state bird. In nature, loons gather in groups called a “loomery,” coming together for strength, safety, and connection. Inspired by this powerful symbol of unity, Loomeri was founded to celebrate the resilience and solidarity within our own communities.

Each creation is an act of resistance, a celebration of diversity, and a reminder that we are stronger together. We believe art can be a force for Good.

That’s why a portion of every sale is donated to organizations making a positive impact in our community—whether by providing rental assistance, groceries and essentials, legal support, or other vital resources.

By supporting Loomeri, you are directly contributing to the well-being and resilience of our community. As a bonus, you’re joining a loomery of people who care deeply about justice, inclusion, humanity, dignity, and the well-being of all our neighbors. Thank you for being part of our story and upholding the spirit of community.

Hi, I’m Caity.

In Fourth Grade I took custom friendship bracelet orders from my classmates… and to my teachers’ dismay made them during class. As a serial entrepreneur and relentless hobby-haver (with a little help from ADHD), my curious spirit leads me on all sorts of creative adventures. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and in addition to my day job, I have found myself infatuated with learning new skills like painting and calligraphy to making art for our Free Little Gallery in my front yard, learning to play piano, and deciding to build a dollhouses. I’m always exploring new ways to make and share joy.

My daughter picked out a Needle Felting book from a cozy bookshop while on vacation in Bayfield, Wisconsin. She proudly brought my first creation, a pink teddy bear, to her Kindergarten Show-and-Tell, and returned home with a list of custom requests from her friends. The apple doesn’t fall far…

I founded Loomeri in January 2026, driven by a desire to use my skills and time for Good. My goal: to craft meaningful tokens that honor both the challenges and the resilience of our community, and to celebrate the ways we come together during difficult times.

Creativity, for me, is about connection, discovery, and finding beauty in the everyday.
